Increasing
the Effectiveness of Internal Corporate Videos
This global manufacturing firm creates quarterly videos that coincide
with the release of its earnings reports. Each installment shows the
client's leaders discussing financial results and company initiatives.
Challenge
The corporate communications director was looking for ways to include
more employees in the videos. Access Consulting suggested a plan for
doing so, centered on an upcoming video extolling the client's Six Sigma
achievements.
Solution
We wrote a series of 30-second segments in which each Six Sigma project
owner described his or her task. Through creative use of words and
visuals, we conveyed complex project information succinctly and
efficiently.
Results
People at all levels participated. Employees loved the videos, and
participation in Six Sigma projects and training rose throughout the
company.
