World Affairs Forum

Panel 1

The World Affairs Forum has hosted

  • George H. W. Bush, 41st President of the United States
  • L. Paul Bremer III, U.S. Administrator in Iraq
  • Robert Hormats, Vice Chairman, Goldman Sachs International

-- and dozens of other national leaders in the recent past

  • Our discussions focus on the challenging world questions that face us, such as:
  • Do my company’s executives and employees understand our global competition?
  • What value does the UN have for America in the 21st Century?
  • How can we balance tourism with the need for border security?
  • Does America’s military dominance mean my son or daughter will be fighting wars around the world?

Programs That Fit Your Needs

We host some 40+ programs every year. We respect your schedule and make it easy for you to attend. Meetings are held at breakfasts, lunches, and evening receptions, on weekdays and occasionally on Sundays.

The Ambassadors’ Roundtable

To get the most out of the World Affairs Forum, join the Ambassadors’ Roundtable, our executive briefing series with renowned speakers. Membership is limited in number to allow for meaningful dialogue.

  • The Roundtable offers seven breakfasts and two dinners between September and May.
  • Events feature VIP speakers – ambassadors, policy makers, CEO’s, and top think-tank experts.
  • Forums are “off-the-record,” freewheeling, and provocative.
  • You’ll find ample opportunities for networking and one-on-one discussions in a friendly atmosphere.
  • For one fee, members get free access to all Roundtable events and full membership in the World Affairs Forum for themselves and a family member.
